Vnukovo Airport held a meeting on the complication of the epidemiological situation in China. Due to this situation, additional training was carried out for the staff of the health center of the airport complex to diagnose diseases caused by the new version of coronaviruses. Questions have been worked out on the selection of material from individuals with suspected community-acquired pneumonia for laboratory research. Methodical recommendations received in the territorial department of Rospotrebnadzor have been studied and shared with the employees of the health center.

In order to identify a patient with a new coronavirus infection and prevent its spread, additional measures were taken to strengthen sanitary and quarantine control at Vnukovo International Airport by the Moscow Office of Rospotrebnadzor following the algorithm developed by the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being. Airlines' management has been given proposals to strengthen the disinfection regime, hold a training seminar for employees of cleaning companies, use air disinfection units, clean and ventilate airplanes, and carry out other anti-epidemic measures.

Together with the Moscow Department of Health, an algorithm was developed for the actions of medical staff in case of suspected new coronavirus infection;

control over the readiness of medical organizations to receive patients from unfortunate territories was ensured;

issues of immediate isolation of persons with suspected illness and the establishment of medical supervision of contact persons have been worked out;

measures have been taken to train medical personnel.

To prevent the spread of cases of diseases caused by the new coronavirus, Rospotrebnadzor recommends that tourists traveling to China observe the following precautions:

- when planning foreign trips, specify the epidemiological situation;

- do not visit markets where animals, seafood are sold;

- use only processed food, bottled water;

- do not attend zoos, cultural events involving animals;

- use respiratory protective equipment (masks);

- at the first signs of the disease, seek medical help from medical organizations, do not allow self-medication;

- when applying for medical care on the territory of the Russian Federation, inform medical personnel about the time and place of stay in China.

The Moscow Office of Rospotrebnadzor recommends that you plan your trips in advance when visiting China and abstain from trips to Wuhan until the situation stabilizes.
