New Rules re. Carriage of Liquids

Dear air travelers,

With a view to bolstering air travel security levels, the RF Ministry of Transport has introduced new regulations that restrict the volume of liquids allowed for carriage in air passengers’ carry-on baggage.

  As per the new rules effective August 27, 2007, a total of 100 milliliters of liquids, gels and/or aerosols will be allowed for carriage in aircraft passenger cabins with the aggregate volume of all the containers cleared for carriage not exceeding one liter [of liquids] per passenger.

  The containers [with liquids], transported in your carry-on baggage must be packed in a transparent plastic bag. The liquids purchased in duty free outlets will also be allowed on board, once packed in a transparent plastic bag.

Dear air travelers, we advise that you check-in all the liquids you will not be using or consuming during your flight(s) with the rest of your checked luggage. This will significantly ease your security checkpoint clearance at the Airport.
