Schedule Coordination

Vnukovo International is a Coordination Level 3 airport according to IATA classification. (AIP RUSSIA part UUWW AD 2.23)

 Information liaison (coordination) between the Coordinator and the air carrier shall be carried out via the following communication channels and within the following timeframe:

 Requests for the operation, change or cancellation of flights (except for executive aviation (General Aviation) flights), irregular (ad hoc) charters and additional flights shall be submitted to the Coordinator at least three days prior to the planned flight date (public holidays and days-off excepted) in an SCR (Slot Clearance Request/Reply)-formatted  message as per the applicable IATA standards currently in force (SSIM Ch. 6, Standard Schedules Information Manual).

 Requests for the operation, change or cancellation of general aviation flights (except for flights operated as per ad hoc flight plans), irregular (ad hoc) charters and additional flights shall be submitted to the Coordinator no later than 19:00 LT (local time in Moscow) on the day preceeding the planned flight date by means of an SCR (Slot Clearance Request/Reply)-formatted message as per the applicable IATA standards currently in force (SSIM Ch. 6, Standard Schedules Information Manual).

 Requests for the operation, change or cancellation of executive aviation (General Aviation) flights operated as per ad hoc flight plans shall be submitted to the Coordinator no later than 6 (six) hours prior to the flight’s planned time of departure, by means of an SCR (Slot Clearance Request/Reply)-formatted message as per the applicable IATA standards currently in force (SSIM Ch. 6, Standard Schedules Information Manual).

  Mandatory in the couse of slot coordination is a clear filing of a relevant Passenger Terminal Indicator as well as that of an Aircraft Terminal (Apron) Identifier when different from the former.

 Expressly forbidden in the course of filing a slot request:

• to schedule flight arrivals and departures within 15 minutes of the start of a declared curfew (restriction) period on the in-/outbound clearance for aircraft type requested.
• to schedule flight arrivals within 15 minutes of the end of declared curfew (restriction) period on the in-/outbound clearance for aircraft type requested.
