If your baggage has not arrived, has been damaged or if there is shortage of its contents

Without leaving the baggage claim area, you need to submit an application on baggage irregularity (loss/damage/shortage of a part of the contents). At the Lost & Found counter, upon presentation of your traffic documents (boarding card, baggage tag) and identity document, you will be issued a Property Irregularity Report (PIR).

Unless the above conditions are met, a decision on acceptance of the application for irregularity shall be made by the airline carrier.

Deadlines for filing a claim with the airline:

• domestic air transportation — within 6 months (in the event of delay in baggage delivery/loss/damage);
• international air transportation:
  • in the event of baggage shortage or damage — within 7 days from the date of receiving the baggage;
  • in the event of delay in baggage delivery— within 21 days from the date of receiving the baggage by a passenger;
  • in the event of baggage loss — within 18 months.
