Vnukovo International Airport operates the TAX FREE system for refund of value added tax (VAT).
The service is available to citizens of foreign countries, except for the countries that are members of the Eurasian Economic Union, such as Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The point for registering TAX FREE goods is set in the customs control area of the international flight departure hall.
If goods subject to clearance under the TAX FREE system are transported in checked-in baggage, please notify the registration agent about that for customs inspection and confirmation of refund supporting documents.
1. If goods subject to clearance under the TAX FREE system are carried in carry-on baggage, after checking in for the flight, you must go to the customs control area in the international flight departure hall. The «red» corridor is for those who also have goods subject to declaration; the «green» corridor is for those passengers who have no such goods, they should notify the customs officer about the presence of TAX FREE goods for subsequent clearance.
2. After customs control and issuance of the relevant documents, passenger should drop their receipts for TAX FREE goods and the relevant documents into special mailboxes of official TAX FREE operators located in the customs control area of the international flight departure hall.
