Moscow Transport Prosecutor’s Office released a video about passengers’ unlawful acts onboard. The video outlines actions of aircraft crew against people threatening flight safety, life and health of other passengers. The crew has the right to use special means of restraint such as plastic handcuffs and nylon belts. Airlines may blacklist violators and ban such passengers from future flights. The video informs that failure to comply with the lawful orders of the aircraft captain can lead to fines or administrative arrest for up to 15 days, and also that the penalty for disorderly conduct on public transport is up to 5 years of imprisonment.
