The Iranian airline Mahan Air began operating regular flights from Vnukovo Airport in 2013. Today the Executive management of the airport and the airline are summing up the results of 10 years of cooperation. During this period 1,150 quick return flights were performed, more than 267,580 passengers and 3,296,180 kg of cargo were transported.
Anton Kuznetsov, Deputy General Director for Commerce of Vnukovo International Airport, said «10 years of cooperation speak for themselves. This is a time-proven positive experience. We are confident that our mutually beneficial partnership will only strengthen over the years and open up new opportunities for the passengers».
Mahan Air was founded in 1992 in Iran. The airline carries out passenger transportation within the country and abroad. Mahan Air has a fleet of 57 aircraft, including Airbus A300-600 (14 aircraft), Airbus A310-300 (11 aircraft) and BAe 146 (10 aircraft). Airships of the presented models have two or three types of class (economy, business and first class).
And to celebrate this occasion Mahan Air and Miles members will automatically receive 2000 miles on route IKA — VKO and VKO — IKA. Today all Mahan Air passengers were welcomed at the airport with souvenirs and treats from Vnukovo International Airport.
