Since July 9, 2022, Conviasa, the national carrier of Venezuela, has been increasing the frequency of regular flights on the route Moscow (Vnukovo) - Caracas. The flights will be operated weekly on comfortable wide-body aircraft of the A-340-600 type. During the flight, passengers are offered two hot meals and soft drinks a day. Note that earlier flights on the route were carried out once every two weeks.
Currently, Conviasa is the only airline company operating regular flights from Caracas to Moscow. The Caracas – Moscow (Vnukovo) – Caracas route is of strategic importance both in terms of the development of economic cooperation and cultural exchange between Venezuela and Russia, and as an attractive, unique destination for the Russian tourist market.
