Vnukovo Is Changing: in Celebration of 100th Anniversary of Russian Civil Aviation

views 267

Today, Russia celebrates the Civil Aviation Worker's Day.

Last spring, staff members of Vnukovo International Airport presented a new uniform. This was a part of the rebranding, which is aimed at increasing brand awareness, customer centricity, openness and friendliness at the airport. Comfort and safety of our passengers and employees is a priority for Vnukovo Airport.

Back then, we decided to hold off posting of the presentation video, but we want to share it on the Civil Aviation Worker's Day. The airport employees have taken part in shooting of the footage. In the video, you will see a fresh new look of the airport, updated employee uniform and navigation:

Dear workers and veterans of the aviation industry! Vnukovo International Airport congratulates you on your professional holiday. We wish you health, unbroken enthusiasm for many years to come, happiness and well-being!

Vnukovo International Airport is one of the largest air hubs in Russia. Each year the airport handles about 200,000 flights of Russian and foreign airlines. Its network covers the whole territory of Russia as well as near and far-abroad countries. In 2019, Vnukovo International Airport served over 24 million passengers, breaking its own record. Vnukovo airport terminal with a total area of about 300,000 square meters can handle up to 35 million passengers annually. Vnukovo International Airport is the only airport in Russia to have received Letter of Commendation from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin for its professional achievements and high performance. Moreover, Vnukovo Airport was recognized as the Best International Airport by Air Gateway of Russia award at National Aviation Infrastructure Show (NAIS) for three consecutive years.
